RMB Live News Jobs respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of this Site to do the same. This page explains how to notify us of alleged copyright infringement and how we handle such notices.

1. Our Position

We aim to publish original reporting, to quote source material only briefly and fairly, and to credit and link to originals. If we have nonetheless used material in a way you believe infringes your copyright, tell us and we will look at it properly.

2. Filing a Notice of Alleged Infringement

Send notices to contact@rmblivenews.com with the subject line “DMCA Notice”. To be actionable, your notice should include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed — or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list.
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with the full URL of each page on this Site where it appears, in enough detail for us to locate it.
  4. Your contact details: name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

Incomplete notices may delay our response. Notices that identify no specific URL cannot be acted upon.

3. What We Do on Receipt

We review valid notices promptly. Where a claim appears well-founded, we will remove or disable access to the material and notify the person who posted it, where identifiable. We may also take action against repeat infringers, including withdrawing access to the Site.

4. Counter-Notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address, including:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, postal address and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court, and that you will accept service of process from the complaining party.

Where the law permits, we may restore the material after the applicable waiting period unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action.

5. Misrepresentation

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages and costs. Do not file a notice unless you genuinely hold or represent the rights concerned.

6. Third-Party Content

This Site links to external websites, including employer portals and official notifications. We do not control that material. Complaints about content hosted elsewhere should be directed to the operator of the site concerned or to their hosting provider.
